Spot on Pepsi. It's a farce
Ahhh sure we have lokal ownership and no money .... better than Peak6 capitalists with money to burn. None of our fans want Investors....
Sonni Nattestad would shore up the defence.

No point mentioning Peak6 everytime Dundalk are losing
At least with Peak6 we would have been sure of a competative budget next season, plus a few mad signings and a mad cap chat with Bill who was open to the press when contacted. Were they any worse than our current owners?? Peak6 were not perfect however solvent and willing to spend

Pepsi, ffs . Another revisionist. We were flirting with the relegation playoff before Vinny came in. Now that was with a crazy budget and a senile fool running the club. Move on son,.you'll feel much better

It's been a really poor game overall, we haven't done anything going forward, honestly forgot hoban was still on the pitch, John Martin lucky to escape red card , shells are not up to much either.

Group stages of UEFA Cup, FAI Cup, signing internationals and that in a pandemic with a mad old man in Florida calling the shots.... what have our current owners to offer with crowds in Oriel?? Will they leave money in the bank?? Will we be solvent going into next season ... where will the money come from?

Club needs a reset ...manager, club management all need replacing ... needs to be said.

Replace the word 'competitive' with 'any'.

That has to be it for O'Donnell. If he can't organise a team to register one single shot on target then it's time for someone else.
Whatever is said about budgets, Hoban , Benson, Horgan, Boyle, Sloggett and a few others aren't exactly playing for free. So he has spent his budget and filled out his squad with players from the back of arse of nowhere in Scotland and England. Ultimately it has failed.
He is willing to give chance after chance to players who are simply not good enough. There is no obvious pattern or style of play. He screams instructions at his players from the first minute to the last.and it makes no difference..they are not playing for him.

They inherited the greatest squad ever assembled in the league...and slowly went about dismantling it. Our success was in spite of them, not because of them. We were more successful before they arrived. Please don't try to rewrite history. I was there, I witnessed it all from the shed, not from my computer in Germany

Time to give youngsters a shot for remainder of season. Surely mayo is a better option at CB than brownlie. Why are Leahy and boyle on the bench yet we play two midfielders in their positions? After twenty mins tonight U just knew we weren't scoring tonight.

Most definitely, 3 games left it's time to give them a run , I've seen a fair bit of the 19s home games last two seasons and I think there are 4 or 5 young lads that deserve a chance.

If you believe that the actions of Peak 6 during the pandemic were anything less than an act of vandalism towards the club then you need to give your head a firm wobble, and that's putting it very mildly. There should be a statue of Bill Hulsizer outside Tallaght Stadium.

It's been a poor season, I just hope that there's a bit more thought and imagination put into the recruitment because the attitudes of some (not all) of these young lads f*cking stinks. If we get a point in tolka or nick a win then we're not having this conversation.

Their choice at this stage of their career is either: make an impression or consider a career outside of football. Simple as.

Spot on , recruitment has been poor not sure who does the background info on players but improvements have to be made , for every Archie Davis we are getting 4 or 5 below average players, why are these lads gettiing contracts ahead of academy players and other young Irish lads , the 19s finished second in the main league last season and had a few excellent players, the current 17s are top of the league with a few games to go , the players are there if given the opportunity, yes it's a big step up but every other loi club are doing it , I still think SOD is the right man going forward, he has been let down badly by recruitment and some senior players.

Ah ffs wise up. Vandalism!! They spent the cash foolishly admittedly but they tried to progress us, take us to the next level. Yes it imploded, but what are the current owners doing? But hey they are local so it's ok everything is Rosey in the garden

Why has recruitment been so poor? Because the owners aren't investing. If you end up getting 6-7-8 loan signings in or players from the Highland league in Scotland which is what the 6th tier, well then what do you expect. We have had three loan signings this season for half a season, Durrant, Williams and Tulloch. No continuity whatsoever. Is Brownlie better than Williams or Mayoa or any of the locals? No.
