Alot of rumours flying about which seems to have drawn the attention away from a big game tonight, wondering if SOD will start the same 11 as last week or bring Doyle,Hoban, Durant and Kelly into the starting lineup, hopefully we get the win and take it to the last day.

Apart from the opening 5 mins when afolabi had two decent chances we have been the better team. Need to get Hoban and Durrant on in second half. Nothing to lose get at them. Leave Cammi on and just go for it

Some effort, they can hold their heads high every one of them. UCD nearly made it Hollywood.

Enjoyed that second half. Malley was excellent, Hoban Dickie and Durrant made a great impact.

Malley turned the game. He has so much quality, it is frustrating when he doesn't impose himself on games.
Delighted for the players and the management, it has been a tough week.

Ok so we all want drogs to win next week but….
say it’s a draw and we beat UCD by 4 we’ll be level with Shels, will we get 4th on goals scored because we’ve got about 10 more than them??

Yes Dundalk would need to score 4, if it's a draw in the Drogheda game. Damien Duff will have no issue parking the bus for a draw

Re: Dundalk v Bohs .
I imagine it would go to goals scored. The head to head is the same with one victory each 2-1 for us and 1-0 to them and two 1-1 draws. So we can't be separated that way as victories and goal diff in head to head are deadlockedMartin Lawlor80 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 27, 2023 11:05 pm Ok so we all want drogs to win next week but….

Anyone hear what Stevie said to the local journalists after the recorded post match interview? Apparently went off on one.

In the event of drawing level with Shels on points and GD lads (we need small matter of winning by 4) it will go down to goals scored which would put us 4th.niall_hearty2000 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 27, 2023 11:18 pmI imagine it would go to goals scored. Drogs have a fair bit to play for on Fri, new owners will be in town, last game, they won't want to lose, I can see a draw there, just not sure Drogs will win, but who knows?
Can we get 4 then if that's the case v a team currently on -73 GD?
On the game last night, thought we were excellent in the second half, there is nothing quite like it when we sweep forward shooting into the town end, we were 'at it' so full credit to the team and mgt for that. Subs worked a treat.
