With the European picture settled for us, will it pull the sale of the club forward?

Re: Official Takeover Thread 2023
Regarding a Take over , Dundalk Fc are one of the greatest clubs that ever existed in Ireland with a magic history , with high & lows over the last hundred years . It’s clear to all that a new stadium is required to elevate Dundalk & keep it at the top of football in this country . So this is a great opportunity for a clonglomoration ( three or four agencies & businesses ) to take over the job on hand . Where are Louth Co Council & the public representatives. The County is crying out for a Stadium , do it NOW. Do the FAI exist ??
Time for a NEW beginning.

All comes down to money, something we don't seem to have enough of and something others seem to be finding without drama and problems .... is Bradley doing enough to get Rovers into the group stages of Europe next season? Is Duff doing what the Turks want him to do? Do the investors/owners feel they are getting value for money?Johnnybegood33 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 05, 2023 2:25 pm What’s going on in League of Ireland, Duffer & Bradley in dark about contract renewal.

Duff finished 4th and they could get Europe. Duff couldn't have done much more. Or maybe the Hull owners were going to bring in their own man regardless, which could be a reckless move and turn the fans against early into their ownership

Re: Official Takeover Thread 2023
Hull may well have worked out that Duff is not going to do as he is told, particularly if it involves providing match practice for squad members, rather than concentrating on pushing for the league. I would imagine they are waiting to see if Shelbourne get Europe. Difficult to cut him loose him if Pats do them a favour. If they don't, expect to hear the old cliches "squad development", "new direction", "group synergies" etc. as the club is overhauled.

Why are we mor concerned about shels than the debacle at our own club? We need a major overhaul and rid of all the current owners. Get new owners in.
Dundalk Fc. First Irish club to win points in group stages of a major European Competition.

It's all relative. Wha type of owners would to replace them with? Similar to Shelbourne which seem to be causing panic with the Shelbourne fans.niall_hearty2000 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 05, 2023 3:44 pm Why are we mor concerned about shels than the debacle at our own club? Or similar to Drogheda, who have a long term plan and not putting unnecessary pressure on Kevin Doherty. They seem to be committed to a new ground.

Dermott Usher was another rumoured to be keen to take over the club. He hasn't worked out for Cork.

Not sure what to make of this. Gerry Malone name checked this John Temple fella a few weeks ago. The investment group was only set up about a month ago so it's all very vague.
Important to note that they're one of a number of groups in talks still so this could go on for another while yet unfortunately...but hopefully not.

That reads like SS and AC have gotten cold feet re negotiations and this statement has been released to put pressure on them.
A lot of ‘crowd pleasing ‘ measures there but looks like a PR statement to me
