That's true . 2016 could have been seen as a one off ,but to make group stages again in 20 should have been a real statement and got interest about redevelopment.

Regardless of who leaves who, we haven't a cent to offer anything! He's not coming back to earn the small sh!te that pops up off the astro pitch!

Re: 2024 | Rumours | Transfers | Contract Renewals
Some rumours doing the rounds. Back in town 48 hours and I have heard some tripe about what's going on up in Oriel. If half of it is true ..... it does not look good. Time for the owners to come out and let fans know what is going on.
As it stands we are 5-6 weeks away from Xmas, no word on Season Tickets, no sponsor on kits that may be sold over Xmas (will put some off buying I am sure) and players rumoured to be leaving at the speed of knots. What I find very funny in all of this is .... the lads who protested to get rid of Peak6 are all very quiet. Do they know something we don't?

The silence is deafening.
Meanwhile Shamrock rovers have already shifted 2000 season tickets .
Do the club even communicate with the Supporters club these days or is that line of communication shot down too?

They dont have huge debt. There was cash in the bank in their last set of accounts.TrevDaRev2 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 15, 2023 10:48 am Ye it makes for real grim reading but its the reality of where we're at. Huge debt and a squad that the club can't afford. 2024 will be spent focusing firmly on the bottom half of the table. I don't think it's dawned on majority of fans yet but we're in big sh1t here imo

Lost a million in 2022. €400k in the bank last December. You do the maths. If we’re flush why we trying to get rid of players still under contract?tip on wrote: ↑Wed Nov 15, 2023 8:05 pmThey dont have huge debt. Ye you’re right, the ssa are cowards.. I really thought they’d have released some sort of statement by now as they were the driving force behind getting P6 out in 2021. The club is in the gutter because of 3 local men it’s a crying shame. 2024 is going to be miserable and we’ll definitely be lucky to stay up.Pepsi wrote: ↑Wed Nov 15, 2023 7:41 pm Some rumours doing the rounds. Almost 3 weeks to the day that the statement was issued asking for 'space' to conclude the talks.
Must be conducting them via carrier pigeon.

Why should the SSA stick their necks out again? I also have it on reasonable authority the SSA are doing as was asked by giving time and space for any potential take over without protesting and rattling a cage that could upset the apple cart. If you feel so strongly why don’t you go up and protest then?StevieR88 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 15, 2023 11:10 pmYe you’re right, the ssa are cowards.. It will be interesting to see how many DFC owners/staff etc. will be at the Pat Hoban night. Their attendance or not will speak volumes . Are they in hiding, or happy to face fans. I'm not expecting to see many...
