Blatant dive by Farugia and its cost him a nasty injury. Karma

If O'Donnell has any sense he will take Bradshaw off. He's going to be sent off. Refs will be keen to take centre stage on the opening night live on tv

Solid 45 there. Rovers paying the price for diving and fouling with their players injuring themselves.

I was thinking that too - but he's really growing into the game, isn't he?

Nice first half of football considering its the first game of the season.
But by Christ ... the FAI must be telling refs to let their love children off with everything to ensure mates remain happy. Clear dive (no sympathy for the injury, deserves it for diving) and ref books our man ... few minutes earlier .. Clearly did worse on Benson and wasn't even a free kick given.

Yes he's been strong in the middle and of course shouldn't have been booked!

Something to build on. Ran out of steam a bit. Thought Gaffney fouled Davies for their goal. That was Rovers only shot on target.

Central midfield looks far better than last year with Bradshaw and High.

Only concern is Walker who looks miles off it, and of course cami who we know isn't up to it.

Other than that the squad looks pretty strong.

Super performance . It was not a free kick which Rovers scored from . Dundalk definitely a team worth watching . Huge credit to Stevie & new owners . The bookies didn’t give us a hope , but we showed them. What a permanent signing George Shelley is , super keeper . Total command in the air & his distribution is ace .
