Shelbourne vs Dundalk Fc. March 29 2024

Post by tip on »

Away to the league league leaders after picking up our first clean sheet of the season against Waterford.
This will be a tough game to get anything out of against a team on a run of 5 wins in a row.

I've a feeling, don't know why, we might get a result on Fri and beat Drogs on Easter Monday.

That day
is historic with the club, like a mini 1916, the famous 3-2 comeback win v Derry, 0-2 down with 13 mins left, and remember we won the league by a single point that double winning season.

Anyway I`ll be on holidays next week, I am fully behind the team on LOITV !!!!

I think we need four point in next two games or I'd be seriously thinking of letting O'Donnell go.

For Shelboune I think we need to beat them at their own game. Sit back and let them come on to us and then break with pace. I'd go with five at the back for this one.

The saddest part for me is that we are only targeting 4 points against Shelbourne and Drogheda! Says it all really!

I would think you might be right, a win over Drogs is definitely required, or we could be seeing the words 'have parted company'....................cut and paste 'and we wish..........

I'd settle for 3 points from the two games. There won't be a lot of teams taking a point away from Tolka Park this season.

Any team in the league would take 4 points from Shels away and Drogs at home. I get things are bad and the team and management are rightly coming in for criticism but ridiculous posts like this are just pointless

Agree, 4pts would be superb, very very few teams will get 3 at Tolka this season.

Feeling slightly optimistic (not sure why) for a result tonight.

Would like to see Louis and Johnson in centre half.

I would play Horgan through the middle and as much pace as possible on the wings.

Fingers crossed.

Enough is enough. Time for the entire backroom staff, management, recruitment to be sacked immediately. It's simply not good enough. Lose to Drogheda on Monday and we are in serious trouble .
