Annesley in front of the back 4 might not be the worst idea. CDM is a huge problem, Doyle is the best other option but not at it so far this year

We were arguably the better team v Shels first half but we're so painfully limited in terms of quality (and coaching). Munro v good v Mochtas but struggled badly with the ball on Friday. He doesn't look like a modern ball playing keeper, specially under pressure. Johnson also struggled in possession but he looks like a decent defender. Ostenbrink proved definitively that he's not the answer in CM. Looked out of his depth. Rest of the midfield struggled badly to support Cammy who put in a good shift but is no footballer.
Maybe I need to give midfield a little credit- we set up fairly defensively and restricted Shels, like at Rovers. But they're a very mediocre side and they were able to step up second half. It's hard to see where goals are going to come from. And hard to see anything but a grim season ahead
