The Linfield move always confused me then I found out that Shieldsy's dad was Scottish and he's actually a rangers fan.

Quite honest about his reasons. Being away for most of the day when you have young kids is always a problem. None of his games are more than 90 minutes away. How many of us who travelled 90mins+ each way to work in Dublin are now happily working from home? The fact that himself and David Healey both live in Bangor meant they cross paths quite a lot. The change hasn't altered his commitment much. Most likely fuming with conceding an equaliser against 10 men, as seen from his booking with 4mins left.

My uncle Jim "shadow" Hearty was left full for Dundalk in the 1940's. Linfield tried to sign him as their first catholic player, naturally enough he turned them down.

Just reading online about that game today, Lindfield v Glentoran, 10k at it, which is their 'boxing day' reg fixture, huge crowd, but can't bee too many leagues where there is such a variance with the same clubs on crowds, Linfield avg before this was 2,200 this season, that's a huge drop, and lower than our avg.

Cortect and right colly. 1992 as opposed to 94 for fenlon.however the first catholic to play for linfield was Tony Coly from Senegal in 1988.

Jamie McGrath close to a pre contract agreement with Aberdeen. Aberdeen a bigger club then St Mirren with a decent 20k Capacity stadium in Pittodrie.
Though thought he would have got a move to a Championship club. Middlesbrough were linked previously but changed manager since then.

I see Daniel Cleary played the last couple of games for St Johnstone. They are brutal though, looking at relegation and knocked out of the cup by non league opponents!

Sam Stanton scored for Raith in the Cup at the weekend. I think John Mahon jumped the gun a bit joining St Johnstone. He could have stayed another season at Sligo and got better offers as he's 22. Cleary is 26 in March so might not have had as many opportunities in future to go over.

The most in important thing is Dylan Connolly is that he's playing football, how many clubs he's had is irrelevant the modern day footballer in the lower lges and Ireland move clubs regularly the days of one man clubs are finished..
