Ex DLK players in UK & elsewhere

Post by mike »

I left the topic as general as we have a few out there, namely Hector who recently returned to his club after a very successful stint with Aberdeen, Danny Kearns still at Peterborough but not getting many starts, and what is the Donegal lad called, whos name has escaped me, with Bradford? decent player******

Also, i noticed this yesterday, look who scored the winner for Lincoln. I think that's our former tidy midfield man Tom Miller.

Edit**** Carl McHugh, he started yesterday for Bradford.

I forgot loads of players then, always interesting to keep any eye on them. I think we can follow the lads up north easy enough, we'll stick to 'across the water'

Shaun Williams is doing very well for himself, Jeff Stelling even mentioned him a few weeks back.

Strange that Williams hasnt been called into the Ireland squad, especially when you see the likes of Conor Sammon called up (even if they are different positions).

Drogheda really messed up with him. You could see his class even at a young age. If they developed their young players and invested in youth instead of throwing millions at other players imagine where they would be now.

I watched Ben play against the Utd u21s, I thnik he megged Fabio! Anderson and Zaha also played the game. Ben was very impressive, he seems to be getting on well over there, delighted for him. Tony Hibbert was the other fullback on the day so he's in solid hands!

Who was that u21 player last year(maybe th eyear before) who was absolutely banging in goals week in week out?

Also where is the young defender Cian Byrne?
