Shocked and sorry to hear that Dundalk and Everton fan Maurice Coffey passed away yesterday.

RIP Mo.

I was very sorry to hear of passing of Elizabeth Duffy today, DFC secretary for over 30 years, and would have been actively involved right up to the mid 00's. I think she was last a board member pre the Co-Op board takeover around 00, but what a trojan worker for the club she was, her whole family, and her pre-deceased son Vincy too.

May she RIP

Very sad news this week with the passing of Sonia Hoey on Tuesday.

A top centre forward in her day, she scored the winner in the old Lansdowne Road in the 2005 Women's Cup Final, as Dundalk beat Peamount 1-0.
